As senior director of Enterprise Data Science, Chris leads the team within Knowledge Solutions, reporting directly to Express Scripts’ Chief Data Officer (CDO). His team administers a best-in-class data science practice to ensure Express Scripts’ nearly 22 petabyte healthcare data ecosystem is operationalized with the most effective data science methods and technologies. The solutions Chris’ team produces are leveraged by multiple internal Express Scripts organizations, direct clients & patients and business partners across industries.

His current focus is on delivering Express Scripts’ next generation of data science solutions. These breakthrough solutions are being used to deliver patient-centered, data-driven healthcare experiences. The solutions build on Express Scripts’ mastery of behavioral economics to predict the risk of individuals experiencing adverse health events or chronic conditions, addressing issues such as non-adherence, opioid dependencies and overall economic inefficiencies in healthcare.

Chris has over 15 years of experience leading software engineering and data science organizations spanning multiple industries such as: Healthcare Technology, Financial Services, Biotechnology and Telecommunications.
