Matt Perlberg is President of the Evernorth Health Services℠ pharmacy businesses, which include Accredo® specialty pharmacy, Express Scripts Pharmacy®, and CuraScript SD, as well as businesses within those divisions, including Freedom Fertility Pharmacy and Verity Solutions. Under Matt’s direction, these industry-leading businesses safely deliver medications to millions of Americans, provide exceptional patient care, expertly distribute complex pharmaceuticals, and much more. Evernorth’s pharmacy businesses provide a best-in-class experience for patients, healthcare providers, and plan sponsors. Matt is a member of The Cigna Group’s Enterprise Leadership Team.
Matt joined Express Scripts in 2013 in the corporate strategy group and was responsible for healthcare industry modeling and analytics, strategic plan development, and Board of Directors communications. In 2016, Matt moved to supply chain, where he held several leadership roles across drug sourcing, supply chain product, and strategy before assuming leadership of the supply chain organization in 2021. Prior to joining Express Scripts, Matt was a management consultant with Bain & Company.
Matt currently serves on the board of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation’s Mid-America Chapter, which is dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and political science from Washington University in St. Louis, and an MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School.
