About

Monal is responsible for supporting the research needs of multiple internal and external business partners. She conducts and collaborates on research projects pertaining to pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacoeconomics. During her tenure in the team she has led research studies focused on diabetes, inflammatory conditions, oncology, and oral contraceptives. Most recently she has been spearheading the research collaboration with the health equity team to understand the impact of Social Determinants of health on various disease conditions. Prior to her role in clinical Research and new solutions, she was responsible for leading all integrated data analytics from design to execution. She has a deep subject matter expertise in medical health claims and third party episode groupers. She brings a decade of in-depth experience in population health research and special emphasis on healthcare utilization.

On a personal level, Monal enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She enjoys enjoys writing children’s picture books and has successfully published her first book- ‘The Grumpy Frumpy Croissant’. She is in the process of publishing her second children’s book. Monal also enjoys volunteering with ‘Statistics without Borders’, an organization that provides pro bono statistical consulting. She has a Master in statistics and Biostatistics from Rutgers University and a MPH from George Washington University.
