About
Dr. Kimberly Hutton has worked in the employer healthcare industry for 17 years, helping employers find solutions for improving the health of their people while managing their overall healthcare spend. She currently serves as Medical Senior Director & Chief Medical Officer for Evernorth Direct Health overseeing their primary care wellness centers, health coaching, biometric screenings, and general population health services.
Her passion is empowering clients to find innovative solutions to improve the health of their employed population and their families and improving quality of care within the organization. As a commitment to quality improvement, she also serves as a site surveyor for The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and has a long history of public speaking related to emerging health concerns, preventative care and wellness initiatives.
Prior to her time in employer healthcare, she worked in both the emergency medicine and primary care settings as a physician and Medical Director. She earned her medical degree from The University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City in 1996 and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Trinity Lutheran Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, where she served as Chief Resident. She is currently pursuing her Certified Physician Executive (CPE) credentials through the American Association for Physician Leadership (AAPL).
