Dr. Hamilton joined eviCore in 2017 and currently serves as Associate Chief Medical Officer for Oncology Programs. He is responsible for the overall clinical performance, growth, and development of the company’s oncology programs, and also serves as a clinical liaison to eviCore’s health-plan clients and the broader physician community.

Prior to joining eviCore, Dr. Hamilton was a practicing hematologist/oncologist for over 20 years in a community-based multidisciplinary oncology practice he co-founded in 1997 in a suburb of Oklahoma City. During this time, he also served as a hospice medical director, and served as chief of staff for his local community hospital.

Dr. Hamilton received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and completed his internal medicine residency and medical oncology/hematology fellowship. He served as a clinical instructor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center following completion of his fellowship training. He has continuously maintained his board-certification in medical oncology, and is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
