BLOOMFIELD, Conn., March 16, 2026 – Evernorth, the health services division of The Cigna Group (NYSE: CI), today announced that Pete Perron has been named President of CuraScript SD, Evernorth’s specialty distribution business. CuraScript SD is dedicated to offering comprehensive distribution solutions for healthcare providers in physicians’ offices, surgery centers, and other clinical settings, ensuring reliable and efficient access to specialty medications for their patients.
As demand for specialty medicines continues to grow rapidly, CuraScript SD’s deep distribution expertise, broad drug access, and high-touch service model plays an important role in enabling clinicians to focus on delivering top-notch patient care.

Perron brings more than three decades of industry experience to Evernorth, with a proven track record in senior leadership roles at pharmaceutical and biotechnology-focused organizations with a consistent focus on complex medication distribution. Most recently, he served as President of International and Proprietary Brands at Covetrus, a global company that distributes pharmaceuticals and medical supplies and offers technology solutions to veterinary practices. Before then, he spent 15 years at McKesson, leading the organization’s suite of tools and services designed to help community-based specialty care providers enhance their business practices and operate more efficiently. He has also held leadership roles at Valera Pharmaceuticals and Janssen Pharmaceuticals.
Perron attended the University of North Texas where he graduated with his Master of Science in Business Communications.
