Bill Spehr is the Senior Vice President of Sales for Evernorth, a premier health services portfolio that connects and coordinates innovative and flexible solutions for health plans, employers, and government programs.
In this role, Bill provides direction and oversight for the Evernorth sales function to seamlessly deliver solutions and services that help solve some of clients’ most difficult challenges. In addition, Bill collaborates with Evernorth’s network of partners to improve affordability and deliver a more personalized customer experience.
With more than three decades of leadership in the industry, Bill has a track record of successfully helping organizations develop strategic plans for growth, focusing on re-energizing the core business while moving into new areas, and leveraging technology and marketing to accelerate the business.
Prior to this role, Bill served as Senior Vice President, Sales and Health Plan Account Management at Express Scripts, where he oversaw the management of new sales activities as well as the health plan segment. Before then, he served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Connecture, Inc., Chief Sales Officer for WebMD — Health Services, and Senior Vice President of Health Plan Segment for CVS Caremark.
Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from State University of New York in Oneonta, and a master’s of public administration in health policy and management from New York University.
