Dr. Urvashi Patel is a highly accomplished healthcare analytics executive with experience leading population health analytics, advanced analytics, data strategy and governance across payers and health systems. Urvashi currently leads the Evernorth Research Institute at Cigna where she oversees advanced analytics, AI integration and research to address client’s biggest healthcare challenges. She has a strong track record of using data to improve clinical outcomes and cost efficiency. She has held previous senior roles at Brighton Health Plan Solutions, Montefiore Health System and Horizon BCBS. She holds a PhD in Health Services Organization and Research.
