Feeding kids. Finding hope.
Employees of Evernorth Care Group showed true holiday spirit when they volunteered with Feed My Starving Children over the holidays.
Feed My Starving Children believes that hope starts with food. Working with food science and nutrition professionals, its MannaPack® meals are specifically designed to assist in reversing and preventing undernutrition. Volunteers come together nationwide to hand-pack these meals for distribution to schools, orphanages, clinics and feeding programs around the world.
Together, Evernorth Care Group volunteers packed 161 boxes to feed 34,776 meals to children in underserved countries. Clinical Program Senior Manager, Heather Jaeger enjoys serving the community with her colleagues. “The work has helped me build stronger working relationships with my teammates,” she says. “I feel fortunate to work for a company that supports and expects its employees to serve others in the communities that we live in.”
