Somewhere along the line, their office staff went to hell. Even with how they communicate thru the apps like MyChart. I have been on medication for a very long time with a doctor that moved to this office years ago. That was the only reason, and they were great at that time. I have never ever had an issue with getting my meds filled in a pinch especially when appts are booked out. Yet, now suddenly i am being told they are controlled. Anti anxiety med and a muscle relaxer. The muscle relaxer isn't a controlled med from what I found and my anti anxiety med is something I have never in the past had to sign a waiver. Im sure my chart could have been checked and then they could explain when and why it does now. I couldn't get in til may because that is how booked out it is. And yet a one time courtesy to get to that appointment can't be granted. I adored my doctor of over 10 years, but because of rude staff, I don't ever want to go there again. I'm already in the process of get copies to medical records. If you can....go anywhere else besides this office because some of their other staff makes it not worth it.

I was trying to find out about a follow up. I don’t know exactly who works at the front or if I was really talking to a nurse, but sure they didn’t know anything about a follow up I have. No one seeks to know anything and me I have to keep waiting about my follow up in regards my lab. Results and my eye specialist whom sent them my results regards some tests done. No one cares for no one.

I never had to wait too long to be seen at my appointment time. I haven't experienced delays before. The people at the front desk are very nice and are more than happy to help you out if there is a problem. I had a billing error, and one of the ladies up front helped me out right away and looked into it and followed up with me too, which is nice. (This goes without saying, but you always ask nicely if there is a problem and people are happy to help) saying this because whenever I see someone being rude to the staff are grouchy old people who take it out on the staff. Who wants to go above and beyond to help when you're getting cussed at? Don't be that person pleaaaase.

I really can't say enough good things about my doctor, Dr Manzanares. however the front desk is something totally different. A few months ago there were some helpful people here and there but just now I wasn't able to leave any voicemail for anyone anywhere in the company, not even my own doctor. so now I have to worry about calling first thing tomorrow morning to make sure that's when you get to my message when I could just leave it on a voicemail. the only people I could get a hold of was an answering service and a nurse who could advise me on symptoms supposedly. why is it so hard and seemingly ridiculous to them that I just want to leave a message from your doctor? for all the years I've been coming here I've never had this problem and unfortunately despite my great experiences and years of working with Dr Manzanares even before he moved to Cigna, I still have to give one star. But definitely six out of five stars for Dr Manzanares hopefully the office/company gets their stuff together. also I will be checking this review to see if they respond which I'm not counting on but my reviews have over 20k views so being a level five guide on Google definitely improves the viewability of your current reviews and how many people see it. Edit: they have been working on their front desk people but the wait to speak to someone is still an hour to an hour and a half generally. Here I am again an update as of November 2023 Something as simple as a medication refill seems to be the incredibly hard task and it is for medication that is very dangerous to run out of. This is very disconcerting and unfortunate and I'm still trying to figure out what my next courses of action will be. It went from inconvenient to dangerous.

We have been going here for well over a decade now. I'm sure we don't know everyone that works there but those we do come in contact with, we are very pleased with.
